Cumbica (GRU Airport) has a new voice and soundtrack to help passengers stay “calm.”

A new voice will tell passengers at Brazil’s largest airport that smoking is prohibited, it’s unsafe for children to walk around the terminal without adult supervision and that suitcases must be checked as baggage… The change is part of a sound branding project done to create a sound identity for the airport – something that’s done frequently around the world, like in the Madrid and Paris airports.

The project also includes a three-minute soundtrack (with flute, cello, trumpet and guitar) and a sound logo that can be heard for all announcements on the airport’s sound system.
